The Pantry & Corkscrew  Restaurant in the heart of Westport offers both lunch and evening dining with a varied and comprehensive wine menu. We pride ourselves on using as much local produce as possible in creating our dishes, all of which are freshly made in our kitchen. We use the best of local ingredients from the land and sea with tasty, creative vegetarian options always available. Our menu choices change every few months keeping seasonality in mind while still retaining our popular signature dishes.

We have taken a lot of care and time to make our little place as comfortable and welcoming as possible and will immediately make you feel as though you have stepped back in time. We have also become a favorite place for friends to meet for good coffee and homemade cake or to share a plate of local cheese and a glass of wine.

The Pantry & Corkscrew  Restaurants was set up in 2010 by husband and wife team Dermott Flynn & Janice O’Rourke.Janice manages the front of house with her team while Dermott manages the kitchen.

They are a small operation with a big focus on quality produce. We try to use as much local produce as possible and if we can’t source it locally we will do our best to make sure that it is Irish.

They only use Irish Free-Range chicken and eggs in our dishes and use Organic Irish Beef in our handmade burgers. Their list of Local & Irish suppliers is growing by the month. We keep our prices competitive so that Organic & Free-Range need not cost the Earth to enjoy. All of dishes are freshly handmade in the kitchen and many of their dishes are cooked with a Slow Food ethos.
